A message from Jacob and Meredith Williams
It is a wonderful reality to know God orchestrates change and seasons of transition in people’s lives to create godly transformation. Over the past year and several months, God has repeatedly reminded my wife and I how important trust, hope, and faith are during our own seasons of change and transition.
During my time on staff at Pathway, God has consistently proven Himself faithful in the directional movements of my life, and completely trustworthy in the way He has supplied new direction for me and my wife in our next season of life. Although we are transitioning out of leadership at Pathway, we will continue to worship with our Church family at Pathway.
We are both excited for the new journey God has placed before us and equally encouraged to know our Church family will continue to support us as we seek to obediently follow God’s sovereign plan.
Meet New Interim Student Ministry Director Jake Hartson and family
We are excited to announce that the Hartson family has joined our Pathway Ministry Staff as the Interim Youth Director!
Jake and Kinsey are both California Natives who married in February of 2019. Jake was previously involved with an international missions organization based near Denver, Colorado and served as their Operations Director. After learning they were expecting a child, they sought the Lord’s guidance and it was clear a move back to California was in their future. After a successful return, Jake and Kinsey welcomed a baby girl on June 10th named Finley Rey.
Now in a season of new beginnings, as they seek the Lord for their next step, they are here at Pathway to connect with our Students and shepherd them on their own journey with Jesus. Both Jake and Kinsey are passionate about helping people and encouraging them to take their next step of faith as they navigate the way of Jesus.
The future of Pathway Students Ministry
As the leadership of Student Ministry at Pathway is in a transition, we are excited to for the opportunity to have both Jacob and Jake here to help our students navigate the transitions in their own lives. With a world that looks drastically different than just a few months ago, we know everyone is in a season of transition and a time of recalculating. Our hope as a Church is that Jake and Jacob, or J-squared as we are calling it, will be a time for your students to be guided in their relationships with God as we prepare for the beginning of the school year. We hope you get a chance to thank Jacob for his time serving our students and look forward to you getting to meet Jake and Kinsey as they help develop our students to be more like Christ. They plan to be with us for just a short time but know that God will maximize the impact they can have during their time at Pathway.
